Charlotte is located in Alt-Saarbrücken, within walking distance of Saarbrücken Castle (10 minutes), Ludwig Church (8 minutes) and St. Johanner Markt (15 minutes) in a very quiet side street. Free parking is allowed in Dellengartenstrasse and usually you can always find a space near the apartment (in the evenings and on weekends the situation is of course a bit more crowded).
The apartment is quite close to the city and ideally located to explore Saarbrücken and the region from here. The apartment has a terrace, which provides pleasant coolness on hot summer days. Vis à vis of the apartment is a park, which invites you to stroll. The park is a former disused cemetery, which still offers many ivy-covered old graves and enchanted, romantic corners.
The apartment features an exciting mix of styles, including antiques, Scandinavian design and modern elements, which together form a harmonious unity. Lovely decorations and international art make the special charm of Charlotte. At Charlotte, you immediately feel comfortable and at home. This is also due to the ultra-comfortable double bed as well as the fully equipped kitchen, where you can cook in whatever way you like.

Our prices are complete prices including VAT and all additional costs, plus the obligatory final cleaning of one-time 82 euros. Additional persons are charged at 19 euros per night and person.

So that you are completely independent and flexible in your arrival, we handle the key handover via a key box with a numerical code that you receive from us upon booking. Even if we do not welcome you personally, we are still there for you by phone or Whatsapp at any time and will be happy to help you if you should need assistance.

Quiet and centrally located to the city of Saarbrücken
"Charlotte" is located in a very quiet dead-end street, which has little road traffic and even less -noise. Unfortunately, there are no stores for daily needs within walking distance. However, by car it is only three minutes and you have everything you need in the Vorstadt-, Heuduck- and Hohenzollernstraße: from butcher and bakery to supermarket (EDEKA) and discounter (Aldi). In the apartment there is an up-to-date folder, which informs you about the most important shopping facilities, sights as well as medical help.
Vis à vis of the apartment is a disused cemetery, which is used as a park, where you can relax on one of the numerous benches or where you can also walk a little round.
The Saarbrücken Castle with its nearby museums is 10 minutes away by foot, and the city center of Saarbrücken with the beautiful St. Johanner Markt and its numerous pubs, restaurants and bars can be reached from the castle in another 5 minutes. Here you will also find the theater, several galleries, the town hall and the Moderne Galerie, which features contemporary art and interesting exhibitions.
For the friends of water and wellness, the family spa Calypso offers a nice break. From Charlotte it is only 5 minutes by car and you dive into a world of relaxation and well-being.
"Zum Adler" - Saarbrücken's oldest restaurant - is our tip for guests who prefer original Saarland-Alsatian cuisine. In an easy-going, friendly ambience, it is pleasant to dine here and spend a few pleasant moments. The guests are relaxed, liberal, and appreciate a good Chablis rather than a fancy chichi. It is only a 3 minute walk to the apartment. So here you can also enjoy a glass more to then let the day end at Charlotte's.
Saarbrücken - in the middle of Europe and in the middle of life
The state capital of Saarbrücken can be reached by all common means of transportation, whether by car, bus, train or plane. The most flexible way to travel to Saarbrücken is certainly by car. The road layout is quite simple and there are numerous (paid) parking lots and garages available. However, Charlotte itself does not offer a parking lot exclusively belonging to the apartment, but only allows free parking in the street. In the evenings and on weekends, the parking situation is always a bit more tight. If you take a few minutes walk, you will always find a free parking space.
Saarbrücken airport is a smaller, regional airport that can be reached in about 25 minutes from the apartment, but Luxembourg airport is also within reach and only about 1 hour away.
Saarbrücken is well connected to the German railroad network and is also on the Paris-Frankfurt line; in only 1:50 h you can be in Paris by TGV. The main train station is less than 10 minutes away by cab.
The bus and Saarbahn (streetcar) networks are well developed. However, it is only a few minutes walk from the apartment to the next stop. Information is available at www.saarbahn.de.
If you want to travel by bike in Saarbrücken, you will also have little difficulty, because in the past the road network has been made more bike-friendly. The Charlotte apartment offers a ground-level, lockable and secure storage facility for guests who wish to arrive with bicycles.
